Next Steps with RPS Meeting

The RPS Office of Community Engagement has asked For Richmond to invite all churches, ministries and faith-based nonprofits currently volunteering in Richmond Public Schools to an important meeting to discuss next steps for involvement. The meeting is also open to those who are interested in learning about how they can get involved for the first time, including those in the surrounding counties.

Last Spring, For Richmond was able to host Superintendent Jason Kamras as he shared the new vision for Richmond Public Schools with local pastors. Now, we have an opportunity to hear from Shadae Harris, Chief Engagement Officer, regarding:

  • The launch of Community Teams at each school

  • Their new Faith-Based Partner Strategy

  • The new Partnership Guide which will serve as a road map of ways to wrap around RPS schools

The meetings is open to senior pastors, service and mission pastors, and lay leaders. Multiple members of one church may attend. Please just be sure to register individually so we have each person's name.

Coffee and other beverages will be provided.

Off street parking is available by turning into the parking lot immediately BEFORE the building at 2810 W. Cary Street.
