Richmond Public Schools: Partnership Opportunity Mtg.

Pastors Erik Bonkovsky of City Church, Vernon Gordon of The Life Church, Stephen Poore of Center Church, and Keyno Paraiso of Wave Church invite you to join them for a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, June 9th from 2-3 p.m. to learn more about how your congregation or organization can partner with Richmond Public Schools this summer and fall. We will also be joined by Dr. Erin Brown, Director of Family Engagement for RPS.

As a result of the incredible ways churches and other faith-based nonprofits supported RPS students and families this past year with Food Distribution, Facilitated Learning Centers, and more, RPS has formed an Interfaith Advisory Council that is meeting monthly with Superintendent Kamras and his staff. The pastors listed above, along with several others from the For Richmond network of churches, now serve on this Council.

·       Reading Buddies to Support K-2 Literacy this Summer & Fall

·       Community-Based Literacy Events this Summer

·       Donations for Teacher Welcome Back Baskets & A Packing Party
