Foster Care Awareness Month: May 2020
May is Foster Care Awareness month and in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, it’s more important than ever that churches in Richmond talk about the fact that there are roughly 500 children and teens in foster care in our Metro area. The need for foster parents and those who can wrap around those who foster is great and the Church is God’s answer to caring for these young people!
If you are new to For Richmond’s Foster Care Initiative, take a few minutes to read through our Issue Page which highlights 6 different ways that everyone in your congregation can get involved.
If you are already engaged with the issue, review the resources below to see what suits your congregation.
