RPS Meeting: Best Practices & Shared Goals

Join For Richmond and the RPS Office of Community Engagement for a special school partnership lunch on Thursday, Jan. 9th from 12-1:30 p.m. at U-Turn Sports. This will serve as a follow-up to October's meeting with Dr. Shadae Harris.

Join us as we:

  • Learn best practices from 3 churches who have been successfully partnering with RPS

  • Explore and set involvement goals for individual churches and ministries

  • Learn about an opportunity to work TOGETHER as the Church at Richmond this summer to support RPS Shines

  • Learn about why it's important to restore pre-recession state funding levels for schools and how you can engage with your state representatives regarding this issue

This meeting is open to all churches, ministries, and faith-based nonprofits - including those in the surrounding counties. Church staff are encouraged to invite a key leader within their congregation who is interested in spearheading school partnerships.

Lunch will be provided by For Richmond. Please register so that we have adequate food.
